Job Summary
ESS Scotland Ltd is a growing construction and maintenance company, and due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering consistent work across a variety of commercial projects throughout Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating to a high standard.
- Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping and priming.
- Apply emulsion, gloss, satin, stains and specialist coatings.
- Hang wallpaper and carry out decorative finishes where required.
- Work on commercial refurbishment, reactive maintenance and fit-out projects.
- Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Complete work within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent quality.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate professionally with clients, site managers and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- CSCS card (preferred).
Desirable
- Experience working on commercial properties.
- IPAF or PASMA certification (advantageous but not essential).
