Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards before project completion
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport supplies or move between job sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting or related field preferred; training provided for entry-level candidates
- Ability to operate basic painting tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
- Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record; ability to drive company vehicles required
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights if necessary
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and construction sites is a plus

Pay: £14.07-£23.55 per hour
