Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to residents within supported housing schemes. The role involves working closely with residents, local authorities, and partner organisations to deliver high-quality support services.
Duties
- Develop personalised support plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.
- Conduct regular visits to residents’ flats or shared accommodation to assess wellbeing and address any issues.
- Facilitate access to community resources, employment opportunities, and training programmes.
- Mediate disputes and negotiate solutions to conflicts between residents or with external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, support provided, and progress using Yardi or similar case management systems.
- Organise and participate in meetings with residents, families, and external professionals to review support plans.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and promote a safe environment for all residents.
- Assist residents in accessing benefits, housing applications, or other relevant services as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supported housing or social care settings is desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage conflicts effectively and advocate for residents’ needs.
- Familiarity with Yardi or comparable case management software is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining team collaboration.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures related to supported housing.

Pay: £24,420.00 per year
