Job Title: CAD/CAM Technician
Job Description: As a CAD/CAM Technician at DNH Lab, you will be instrumental in designing and fabricating dental prosthetics using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. We are looking for a candidate with experience in dental lab procedures, a meticulous eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Fabrication: Utilize CAD/CAM software (3Shape) to design dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, implants, inlays, and veneers.
- Implant Planning: Understand to read CBCT and be able to digitally plan complex full arch and single implant cases.
- 3D Printing: Set up, operate, and maintain 3D printers for producing dental models, surgical guides, and other custom prosthetics, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and material handling.
- Digital Scanning: Operate 3D scanners to capture dental impressions and create precise digital models.
- CAM Operations: Prepare and manage milling machines for the production of dental restorations, ensuring top-notch accuracy and finish.
- Collaboration: Work closely with dental technicians, lab managers, and dentists to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CAD/CAM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Job Type: Full-time (8 hours, Monday to Friday)
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Dental CAD CAM Design
- Expertise in IT systems for designing and creating dental appliances
- Strong organizational skills to manage workflow efficiently in a busy dental lab
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and dentists
- Previous experience is essential; deep understanding of 3Shape/Exocad is a must
- Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with dentists
- This position is lab-based and not remote

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CAD/CAM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and production processes in accordance with lab standards.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by the lab manager or other team members.

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
