ANZUK Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking primary federation in the heart of Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team committed to helping every child thrive.
This well-established federation consists of an infant and junior school, providing education for children aged 4–11. Staff work collaboratively across both schools to deliver engaging learning experiences and create a positive environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their best.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in the classroom, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
- Work alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and social development.
- Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children (school, nursery or similar setting).
- Is patient, positive and passionate about supporting children's learning.
- Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Is flexible, proactive and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
