The Role
As part of our front of house team, you’ll be the friendly face our members and guests remember. We are seeking someone with a professional manner, looking to progress their career in hospitality.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers, serve drinks, wait tables
- Take orders, process payments, ensure efficient service
- Keep the bar and restaurant area clean and organised, including restocking supplies
- Guide junior staff with standard operating procedures
- Opening and closing procedures, cash handling, daily reporting
- Help make private hire events memorable and magical
- Address complaints, report to management
Skills and qualifications
- A passion for hospitality. Service can be transactional, hospitality is a feeling. If you know, you know!
- A social, fun-loving persona. Be part of a close knit team
- Good communication skills and a willingness to listen
- Ability to multitask during busy service
- Desire to upsell and encourage repeat custom
- Get to know members and regular customers: names, favourite drinks, rubbish jokes!
- Stamina to work long shifts and endure physical activity
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
