Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist/Patient Care Co-ordinator to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and medical staff, responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth administrative operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational skills within a dynamic private hospital setting. Prior medical and administrative experience are desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and staff in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed
- Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to appropriate departments or personnel
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and organised environment
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries efficiently
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for plastic surgeons
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Support team members with various clerical duties as required
- Ensure security protocols are followed when visitors sign in or out
Skills
- Previous office experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with administrative procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programmes
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
