Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Maintain appointment schedules and organise meetings using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, utilising programmes such as QuickBooks and other database systems
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising office supplies
- Update records and maintain organised filing systems
- Support team members with general clerical duties as required
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is desirable
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
