You will coordinate volunteers and deliver a structured, person-centred service that helps people build connections, improve wellbeing, and maintain independence.
This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, Coordinate and support volunteers delivering befriending support
- Manage referrals and match volunteers with individuals following a detailed home assessment to ensure the safeguarding of client placements
- Maintain accurate records and monitor outcomes
- Ensure safeguarding, boundaries and quality standards are maintained

- Experience of working with volunteers, communities, or vulnerable individuals
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently
