Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical support, managing data entry tasks, and assisting with daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Responsibilities
- Answering and directing phone calls with professional phone etiquette
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and postal mail
- Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
- Performing data entry using Microsoft Office
- Supporting administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and document filing
- Providing general clerical support to team members as required
Requirements
- Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is vital
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational ability
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a desire to develop administrative competencies
