Class 2 (Cat C) Driver - Ad-Hoc / Flexible Basis
Chorley Concrete & Gaskells Tippers | Appley Bridge / Preston / Lymm
We're looking for a reliable Class 2 driver to join our fleet on an ad-hoc, as-and-when basis. This is an ideal role for a semi-retired driver, or anyone who wants to stay in the cab without the commitment of full-time hours.
You'll be covering a mix of work across the group - concrete mixer wagons for Chorley Concrete and tipper work for Gaskells Tippers - so variety is guaranteed and no two days are the same.
The role:
- Ad-hoc shifts, Monday to Friday - you tell us the days you can do
- Mix of mixer (concrete) and tipper deliveries across the North West
- Depots at Appley Bridge (Wigan), Preston and Lymm
- Day work, no nights, no weekends
- Work as much or as little as suits you
What we're after:
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Current Driver CPC and digital tacho card
- A clean, sensible attitude and a good work ethic
- Mixer or tipper experience a bonus, but full induction given (no mixer experience required)
