JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Self-Employed Centre Cleaner
Supervised by: Principal
Hours: Your regular hours of work are 6 hours per week, 12.00hrs - 15.00hrs (These timings can change slightly if needed for the right candidate) on a Wednesday and Friday afternoon during term time ONLY. However, on occasion you will be required to work these hours on alternative days when necessary. Therefore, the need for flexibility is essential.
The start date for the position is Wednesday 16 September with an enhanced DBS already in place.
Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
Hourly Rate: £17.00 gross per hour
All CHET’s cleaning staff are a very committed team and are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the centre.

Main Duties -
- Cleaning specified areas ready for the next residential visit
- Helping other cleaning staff with laundry as and when required
- Working alongside existing cleaning staff so that the centre is cleaned to a high standard
You will be part of an existing team cleaning the centre following a residential visit
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
- Ability to carry out general cleaning duties as detailed in the Job Description
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
- Ability to prioritise work
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work both alone and within a team to achieve specified standards
- Be flexible to changing demands of the post

Qualifications/Experience
- Able to communicate clearly and to understand and follow instructions.
