Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and energetic person to join our teaching team. As part of a well established international organisation, with over 40 years of operating history, full curriculum and training is provided to all teachers. Applicants must be receptive to training, enjoy working with a team as well as demonstrate initiative and capability to work independently. They should have a desire to help students grow in confidence and self-esteem, whilst developing their communication and performance skills, by following the lesson plans and teaching techniques provided by the Academy. Hours are in the evening. Subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory completion of the Academy curriculum and safeguarding training.
Responsibilities
You will be provided with the Drama Kids curriculum to inform your planning for classes to different age groups. Following training and induction, you will lead classes (alongside a studio assistant) with enthusiasm and energy. You will follow safeguarding policy and procedures for working with children, including safe entry to and exit from the class. You will be proactive at building strong relationships with parents and the community to ensure trust in the Drama Kids brand.

Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
