Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities experience in both Commercial and Residential plus supervising experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead construction teams, ensure project deadlines are met, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality on site. The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining efficient workflows, managing resources, and liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labourers, and other site personnel to optimise productivity.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and monitor progress against milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to prevent delays.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enforce quality control standards across all phases of construction work.
- Address any unforeseen issues promptly to minimise impact on project timelines.
Skills
- Proven management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Extensive supervising experience within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Problem solving aptitude with a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
