Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and growth. We will consider full or part time working schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and development effectively.
- Observe and assess children's progress regularly, keeping accurate records to inform planning and share with parents.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education within the nursery setting.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children and their families.
