Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our patrons. Your role will involve not only mixing drinks but also managing the bar area efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organised at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible serving of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and service standards.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the bar area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant role is preferred, demonstrating strong hospitality skills.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
