We are currently seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join our client's growing manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled woodworking professional looking for a stable, long-term role within a well-established business.
Operating a Panel Saw to cut materials accurately to specification
Using a Maggi Cross Cut Saw
Operating Manual Saws and Band Saws
Operating and monitoring CNC machinery
Reading and interpreting production specifications and cutting lists
Ensuring products meet quality standards and customer requirements
Carrying out routine machine checks and maintaining a safe working environment
Working efficiently to meet production targets
Previous experience working within a woodworking or timber manufacturing environment
Proven experience operating:
Panel Saws
Maggi Cross Cut Saws
Manual Saws
Band Saws
CNC Machinery
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Permanent full-time position
Consistent afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
