We are looking for a warm, organised and approachable Front of House & Administration Assistant to join our team at Watermoor House.
This is a people-focused role at the heart of the Home, supporting residents, families and visitors while helping to create a calm, welcoming and well-run environment.
About the role
Working across reception and shared areas of the Home, you will:
- Welcome residents, families, visitors and professionals with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reception, telephone calls and emails
- Support administrative tasks including records, correspondence and displays
- Help maintain a calm, tidy and welcoming front-of-house environment
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure good communication and continuity across the week
- Be observant of residents’ wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
This role is part of a job-share arrangement, working Thursday to Saturday.

- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Trustworthy and discreet, with a good understanding of confidentiality
- Confident using IT systems and willing to learn new processes
- Comfortable working around older people, including residents living with dementia
Previous care experience is not essential — we’re looking for the right attitude, values and people skills.
