The Role:
We’re looking for a cool-headed, customer-focused individual who can handle the chaos with a smile. You’ll be the first face guests see when they arrive, and the one keeping things (somewhat) under control. This is not just a sit-behind-the-desk kind of job—you’ll be handling everything from check-ins to handling rowdy guests, while making sure everyone has a great time safely.
Responsibilities:
- Check-in & Check-out: Keep the process smooth and efficient, even when guests are arriving in party mode.
- Guest Relations: Handle inquiries, requests, and the occasional “I lost my room key… again” situation.
- Problem-Solving: Deal with overbookings, noise complaints, and VIP requests without breaking a sweat.
- Security & Safety: Work with security to ensure guests have fun responsibly.
- Multitasking: Juggle phone calls, walk-ins, and online bookings—all while keeping an eye on the lobby action.
- Team Support: Work alongside bar staff, housekeeping, and management to keep operations flowing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in hospitality, reception, or customer service (bonus if it’s in a high-energy environment).
- A strong personality who can stay professional while handling partygoers.
- Quick thinking and the ability to diffuse tricky situations.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible days/hours (this isn’t a 9-to-5 job!) Bank holidays will be required.
- Familiarity with booking systems and basic computer skills.
- Sense of humor—because you’ll definitely need it!
