We are seeking an experienced, hardworking roughing (1st fix) squad for ongoing residential development in Musselburgh area. This is a sub-contract position with an immediate start and a consistent, long-term pipeline of work. All work must be completed to NHBC standards.
Please Note: We are only able to take on established squads of 2 or more joiners. We cannot accommodate individual applicants for this role.

Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out all 1st fix works to strict NHBC standards.
- Sheeting ceilings and external walls (including vapour barrier and wooling ceiling perimeter)
- Erecting, insulating and sheeting partitions
- Forming bulkheads and adding pads
- Installing meterboards and tank stools
- Strict adherence to site health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Experience - proven track record in 1st fix / roughing joinery on NHBC-registered sites
- CSCS card - valid blue (Skilled Worker) or gold (Advanced Craft) card
- Tools & Transport - must have own full kit of tools and reliable transport
- Tax Status - must be registered as self-employed with a valid UTR number (CIS registered)
