Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Managers to oversee the daily operations of our New Ofsted care homes.
The Deputy home managers will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the facility. This is a leadership role that requires at least 2 years experience in an Ofsted home in a similar or senior support worker role you will need strong organizational skills, a caring nature, and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and other staff members
Duties:
- Develop and implement care plans for each resident, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Manage and supervise a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate and oversee medication administration to residents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Monitor the overall health and well-being of residents, promptly addressing any concerns or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate records of resident care, including medication administration, medical appointments, and any incidents or accidents
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care home, conducting regular inspections and addressing any maintenance issues
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the care home, promoting socialization and engagement among residents
- Communicate effectively with residents' families, keeping them informed of any changes or updates regarding their loved ones
- Manage day to date finance and budgeting
- Be part of the on call rota

Requirements:
- Level 4 - Health and Social Care qualification and happy to work towards a level 5
- Previous (at least 2 years) experience in Ofsted residential care home or young persons care is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of Care planning/Restraint and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide exceptional care to young people
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements for operating a care home

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,967.23-£38,000.00 per year
