The position has a hybrid working pattern, with a mixture of remote, home working and days required within the office, with laptop/equipment provided.
Your role
- You will be working on an innovative, cloud based HR software platform.
- You will work in a close-knit team of analysts, designers, and developers.
- You will be presenting new ideas for system improvements.
- You will be testing software in controlled, real situations before going live.
- You will provide daily and weekly feedback on how the development sprint is progressing.
- You will provide support for leading organisation pre and post live

Your skills
- Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience developing and supporting modern web applications
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and/or Java development
- Essential development skills in C# and/or Java
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
Desirable technical skills include:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes
- Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps and Secrets
- Kubernetes networking and service discovery
- Ingress controllers and ingress configuration
- Load balancers and external/internal services
- DNS configuration and troubleshooting
- TLS/SSL certificates and certificate management
- Kubernetes troubleshooting, logs and diagnostics
- Helm charts and Kubernetes YAML configuration
- Containerised applications
- Docker/Linux containers
- Container networking
- Azure Container Registry (ACR)
- Azure networking
- Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets and network security
- Private/public endpoints and IP addressing
