We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Course Leader to deliver and lead our Level 3 Sport programme.
Working closely with the Curriculum Leader, you will coordinate the course team, lead on course planning and quality improvement, monitor learner progress and achievement, and ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum. You will also play a key role in course development, assessment, learner recruitment and supporting outstanding teaching and learning.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Level 4 or above teaching qualification.
- Experience of teaching within Further Education and the post 16 sector.
- Significant teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
- Up to date subject knowledge and an understanding of awarding body requirements.
- Experience of supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.
- Knowledge of learner support, equality and diversity, and strategies to overcome barriers to learning.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning, continuous professional development and student success.
