Technical External Sales Manager, Seals & O-Rings Division - AFC Europe
AFC Industries Company is part of a fast-growing, global supply chain services group distributing a wide range of engineering fastener components to manufacturing industries ranging from medical and electronics equipment to motorsports and aerospace applications.
We have a strong reputation for delivering high-performing inventory solutions, known as VMI or Kanban systems, to solve customer challenges to have the right products at the right time in their production cycle. We take all their sourcing, purchasing, stocking and component management pain away to focus on making and selling products.
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with the General Manager and colleagues to qualify, manage and develop business to support the Company’s growth plans.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Maintain and develop existing Customers through Organic growth and individual account support.
- Focusing on key decision makers and developing lasting strategic relationships with the customers.
- Coordinate presentations and site visits with the relevant personnel to promote AFCs Seals and O rings and associated products & logistic services.
- Use of the CRM system for recording and communicating activities and projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Communication skills should be of a high standard with the ability to liaise with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, potential customers and colleagues.
- Good technical understanding for different applications / industry sectors.
- Sales professional in Seals – O rings and Gaskets.
- Good attention to detail.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Friendly personality with the ability to be a team player.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, organised and committed, with an eagerness to succeed.
- Able to prioritise with strong time management skills.
- International Industry experience and marketing knowledge would be beneficial
This is primary an external position and the candidate if not in the AFC regions would be located at their home office and travel to new and potential Customers from there.
