Job Overview
Full Time 37.5hrs
Post holder can be considered for operations on-call rota. Allowance circa £3,000 to £4,500 per annum.
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations & Performance Data Manager to lead our data management and performance analysis initiatives. This pivotal role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of operational, workforce, clinical and contractual data to support operational excellence and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, leveraging advanced data tools and project management skills to drive continuous improvement across our services.
Duties
- Working across a broad portfolio of services including NHS 111, Clinical Assessment Services (CAS), Out of Hours (OOH), Primary Care Services, Community Healthcare Wellness Workers (CHWW), and associated healthcare programmes, the role will develop meaningful insights that improve patient access, service delivery, workforce utilisation and contractual performance.Manage end-to-end data processes, including database design, data collection, validation, and reporting for healthcare operations.
- The post holder will work with multiple clinical and operational systems including EMIS, Adastra, eRS, Joy, OtpoLink and other organisational datasets to provide accurate reporting, forecasting, dashboard development and performance analysis.
- The role will support operational leaders, managers and directors in understanding service demand, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring services deliver against contractual, quality and organisational objectives.
Qualifications / Experience
Essential
- Degree-level qualification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
- Data analyst, business intelligence or performance analyst role.
- Producing dashboards, reports and management information.
- Power BI and advanced Excel functions.
- Analysing large and complex datasets.
- Interpreting and presenting performance information to non-technical audiences.
- Working with multiple stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience of Power BI dashboard development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent numerical and statistical analysis capability.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of information governance and data protection requirements.
Desirable
- Microsoft Power BI certification.

FedBucks operates a hybrid working approach to support flexibility and work-life balance. Subject to business needs and manager approval, the post holder will normally be expected to work 2-4 days per week from the office and 1-3 days per week from home.
Hybrid working arrangements are non-contractual and may be reviewed, amended or withdrawn at any time. FedBucks reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to vary the working pattern, including requiring additional office-based attendance, to meet operational, service delivery or business needs.
Pay: £48,000.00-£57,000.00 per year
