Role Overview
The Logistics & Shipping Administrator is responsible for coordinating UK and international shipments, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and in the most cost-effective manner. The role works closely with customers, freight providers, suppliers, warehouse operations, and internal departments to manage transport arrangements, prepare shipping and export documentation, and maintain high levels of customer service while ensuring compliance with customs and shipping regulations.
Working Hours 08:00 - 16:30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Pick and Coordinate the dispatch of UK and international customer orders, ensuring deliveries are completed within agreed lead times.
- Arrange cost-effective transportation solutions and manage relationships with freight providers, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare, process, and maintain all transport and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and shipping legislation.
- Manage customer enquiries and provide administrative support to the sales team, delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Coordinate warehouse pick and pack priorities to support efficient order fulfilment and timely dispatch.
- Produce, monitor, and analyse weekly and monthly KPI reports to support operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure data integrity across logistics and business systems.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and cost control.
Essential
- Strong understanding of international logistics, supply chain processes, and associated shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones and cultures.
- Proficiency in logistics software, SAP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, freight coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs requirements.
- Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
