About JAM Events
JAM Events is a growing event company specialising in Bollywood nights, Indian cultural events and social experiences across England. We have already successfully hosted multiple events and are now building a passionate team to help us take JAM to the next level.
We are currently a small and growing company, so this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain real experience in the events industry, build their CV and be part of a growing brand from the beginning.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers who love Bollywood, events, music, nightlife, social media and meeting new people.
We are currently recruiting for roles including:
- Social Media Marketing Head
- Event Manager / Assistant Manager
- Event Coordinator
- Content Creator
- Marketing & Promotions
- Sponsorship & Partnerships
- General Event Team Members
You do not need previous experience. If you are passionate, reliable, creative and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Depending on your role, you may be involved in:
- Helping plan and organise Bollywood nights and cultural events
- Social media marketing and Instagram promotions
- Creating content, reels and promotional campaigns
- Helping with event coordination and logistics
- Communicating with venues, DJs, performers and partners
- Supporting ticket sales and event promotion
- Helping manage events on-site
- Developing new event ideas and concepts
- Building relationships with universities, societies and local communities
Volunteership Details
This is currently an unpaid volunteer opportunity. As JAM Events is a growing company, we currently have limited budgets and are not yet able to offer paid positions for these roles.
However, as the company grows, we aim to create paid opportunities for members of our team, and volunteers who demonstrate commitment and strong performance may be considered for future paid positions.
- Maximum: 24 hours per week
- Working style: Hybrid / Remote
- Most work: Can be completed from home
- On-site: Some event days may require physical attendance
- Duration: 3 months
For volunteers supporting our events on-site, we may provide food/refreshments and JAM Events goodies during the event.

At the successful completion of your 3-month volunteership, you will receive:
