We’re looking for an energetic, driven, creative, and commercially minded customer focussed individual to join our evolving sales team. We want someone who is ambitious with a natural aptitude for talking to people about technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to develop their career within a highly successful, growing (20% YOY) tech company.
You’ll be responsible for both developing and nurturing an inbound pipeline of BrightLocal ‘trialists’ , as well as creating a new business pipeline through outbound sales. You will speak to both small marketing agencies and businesses, all the way up to multi-location brands, your goal being to get them on booked discovery and product demo calls with our team.
As our SDR you’ll be a star player working alongside a team of 6 who punch way above their weight in the marketing technology space, building out our team pipeline and routing both inbound and outbound leads to our team of AEs.
You will receive extensive training on local SEO, digital marketing as well as the BrightLocal platform so that you are able to talk confidently about our services. You will use this knowledge to demonstrate how BrightLocal can solve their problems and add value to their agency or brand.
This is a hybrid working role. Most of our team are currently working two days in the office and three days from home. Our office is in a great spot in the center of Brighton. As 90% of our customers are based in the US, the Biz Dev team we work a mixture of 10.00 - 18.00 and 12pm - 8:00pm, however this doesn’t need to be every day and calls from 6pm can be taken in office or remotely.
This role comes with a quarterly and annual performance-based bonus.
What you’ll be doing:

Working as the co- owner of our inbound customer pipeline, profiling, qualifying and contacting high value customers to explore how we can solve their business challenges. As well as generating and qualify new sales leads through outbound prospecting.

Speaking to and booking potential opportunities for the BrightLocal biz dev team; a love for being creative when contacting potential customers is a must! You’ll be engaging with potential customers via phone, email, and social media.

Collaborating closely with marketing to refine lead generation strategies as well as providing feedback to product teams based on prospect interactions. You’ll be someone who loves interacting with people and building relationships internally and externally.

Beyond this, we’d love someone to be confident in spearheading new initiatives, targeting specific customer segments by creating relevant and solution focussed campaigns.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop within the customer acquisition/SDR space. We don’t necessarily see this as a stepping stone position into an AE role as we are hoping to grow this team and create segments, however we are open to discussing this on a case by case basis.
