About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Training Support Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Training Lead.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be responsible for coordinating training administration, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure our trainees receive an excellent experience throughout their developmental journey.
While you’ll build strong relationships with our trainees and support their progress, this is a manageable portfolio. In the 2025/26 financial year, we supported approximately 37 trainees across the business, allowing for a personalised and supportive approach to development.
As a key member of the team, you’ll work closely with trainees, managers and supervisors, helping to keep training programmes running smoothly and ensuring important milestones, reviews and compliance requirements are completed on time.
The Role
- Supporting the recruitment process, including applicant communications, interview coordination and reference gathering.
- Assisting with onboarding new starters, including joining documentation, welcome communications, inductions and system access.
- Setting up Learning Assessment Records (LARs) and enrolling trainees onto training programmes.
- Monitoring trainee progress and following up on outstanding paperwork or learning activities.
- Coordinating supervised interviews and maintaining accurate training records.
- Support the Training Lead with trainee reviews and development activities.
- Organising group training sessions, meetings and attendance records.
- Managing qualification sign-off documentation and certification administration.
- Maintaining trainee tracking spreadsheets and SharePoint records.
- Assisting with offboarding administration.

Desirable But Not Essential
- Previous experience in administration, training support or coordination roles would be advantageous.
