About the Role
As a Team Member, you'll play a key role in creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere that The Kitchen is known for. From preparing fresh food and crafting quality coffee to delivering outstanding customer service, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
You'll be part of a supportive team that values kindness, teamwork, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food and beverages to our high standards
- Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the café, kitchen, and customer areas
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience
- Promote menu items, daily specials, and seasonal offerings where appropriate
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Assist with food preparation and general café operations as required
- Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values of The Kitchen
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A passion for people, food, coffee, and hospitality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across our opening hours
