About the Role
Contract: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time
Hours: Part Time, 12.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive
Start Date: Sep 2026
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the serving of meals for students and staff
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
- Support the catering team in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Assist with washing up, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
- Help with stock rotation and basic food storage
- Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service during lunch, and school events
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in catering or food service (desirable, but not essential)
- Maintains high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
- Is reliable, flexible, and has a positive attitude
- Can engage with children and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school environment
