Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for Guests customers and staff alike. Previous experience in houskeeping in hotel is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to delivering quality service in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed to maintain operational readiness.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by adhering to established procedures and schedules.
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks in hospital or healthcare settings when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience cleaning/houskeeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and reliability are essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings and weekends .
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring a safe environment for all occupants. Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
