Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service roles, particularly in bars or restaurants
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks and maintain high service standards under pressure
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism at all times
