We’re looking for a Service Assistant to support our busy visitor operations teams at Quarry Bank Mill.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Pattern: You'll work 7 hours per week, typically on a Tuesday, but we can be flexible for the right candidate. You'll work one weekend day per month, and some Bank Holidays on a rota.

This former cotton mill was built in 1784 and is one of Britain’s greatest industrial heritage sites. The busy estate hosts many schools programmes and events, which help bring Quarry Bank’s fascinating story to life. This is an opportunity to work in a popular location with a team that pride themselves on being dynamic, highly motivated and dedicated.
What you'll be doing:The core part of your job is to give vital and positive support to your colleagues, wherever you’re needed, with a focus on greeting and helping visitors. No two days will be the same. You can expect to meet many different people and gain experience in different visitor areas. You’ll get involved in all kinds of tasks, including greeting visitors on arrival, restocking shelves in our bookshop, helping orientate visitors around the Mill and property, and helping to keep our site looking it's best. Most importantly, you’ll be talking to visitors, answering their questions and making sure they can find everything they need to enjoy their day.
