Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef in developing innovative menus that delight guests and reflect current culinary trends
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Coordinate food preparation processes to optimize efficiency and minimize waste while maintaining high standards
- Support serving staff during busy service times to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to prevent shortages or spoilage
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and culinary arts with hands-on kitchen experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining compliance
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff
- Experience in food preparation, menu development, and restaurant operations preferred

Pay: £25,420.00-£42,152.66 per year
