Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience restoring alloy wheels to the highest standard, with strong abilities in powder coating and repairing structural damage. Experience with diamond-cutting processes is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full alloy wheel refurbishments to a high-quality finish.
- Carry out powder coating including preparation, pre-treatment, application, and curing.
- Conduct crack repairs, buckle straightening,and other structural fixes using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Prepare wheels through stripping, blasting, sanding, and priming.
- Operate and maintain refurbishment machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
- Identify wheel damage and recommend correct repair methods.
- Assist with diamond-cutting processes (if experienced).
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Liaise with customers or internal teams to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in alloy wheel refurbishment (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with powder coating techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to repair cracks, flat spots, and buckles.
- Diamond-cutting skills are an advantage but not essential.
- Good understanding of safe workshop practices and equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Relevant workshop or automotive repair experience required.
- Welding experience (for crack repairs) beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
