Contact Centre Support Worker – Social Care (Non-Qualified)
Hours: 18 Hours Per Week (Friday 2:00 – 6:00, Saturday & Sunday 9:00 – 5:00)
Contract: 12 Week Temporary Contract
About the Role
As a Contact Centre Support Worker, you'll provide practical support to ensure safe and effective contact sessions between children, young people, and their families. You'll focus on coordination, administration, and safeguarding, rather than direct family support or supervised contact work.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting contact sessions – ensuring venues and resources are available for family time
- Maintaining the centre – keeping facilities well presented and safe
- Assisting supervisors – providing practical support to contact supervisors, coordinators, and managers
- Handling administration – managing light clerical tasks and logistics associated with contact arrangements
- Safeguarding responsibilities – ensuring children's safety and wellbeing during sessions
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured routine.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a support or administrative role within social care or children's services
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility to work in the UK with required documentation (CV, references, confidentiality agreement, criminal convictions declaration, declaration of interest)
