FIELD SALES ADVISOR – ELECTRIC HEATING
£27,000 Basic | £39,000+ OTE | Uncapped Commission
Company Van | Fuel Paid | Full-Time | Permanent
Let’s get this out of the way first…
We’re kind of a big deal in electric heating.
And we don’t say that lightly.
We’re growing fast, we do things properly, and our sales team is a huge part of why. If you want to work for a business that’s going places — and wants you to go with it — you’re in the right place.
Now, let’s talk about the role.
Before you read on (quick vibe check)
This isn’t an office job.
No desk. No swivel chair. No “just one more Teams call”.
This is proper, get-out-there field sales.
You’ll be on the road.
You’ll be in people’s homes.
You’ll be chatting, presenting, selling.
If that makes you wince — this probably isn’t your cup of tea.
If that makes you grin — keep going, we like you already
Who we are (the fun bit)
We’re Trust Electric Heating.
We design, supply and install electric heating systems across the UK — but what really sets us apart is how we do it.
We’re human. We’re ambitious. We care about quality, comfort, and doing right by customers.
We don’t believe in “sink or swim”.
We believe in training, support, and backing our people — then letting them fly.
Think:
- strong culture
- high standards
- good vibes
- real growth
The role (no fluff, no surprises)
You’ll be a Field Sales Advisor, attending pre-booked appointments in customers’ homes.
No cold calling.
No door knocking.
No chasing leads.
Appointments are booked by our office team.
Your job is to turn opportunities into sales.
What you’ll actually be doing (aka the really good stuff)
You will:
- Jump into your branded Trust van, grab a coffee, and hit the road to pre-booked appointments (no cold knocking, promise)
- Walk into customers’ homes and deliver confident, engaging, genuinely human sales chats — not robotic scripts
- Build instant rapport (because people buy from people, and vibes matter)
- Help customers find the right heating solution for their home — not a one-size-fits-all pitch
- Close deals, smash targets, and enjoy the buzz when it all comes together
- Keep your admin tidy and up to date so future-you stays happy, calm, and caffeine-fuelled
Read this carefully (no sugar-coating, no surprises)
This is a proper on-the-road role.
- Appointments run Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Travel time can (and will) spill outside those hours
- Your territory can be up to 2 hours from home
- Some mornings you’ll be up early
- Some evenings you’ll be getting home late
- Some weeks will feel full-on — in the best possible way
If you’re after early nights, tucked up in bed by 7pm, fixed desks, and predictable days…
- this is not for you.
But if you like momentum, independence, a bit of graft, and being rewarded properly for it —
- welcome, you’ll fit right in.
Why people actually stay at Trust
Because we don’t just talk about culture — we are the culture.
You’ll get:
- Real training on the road, not death-by-PowerPoint
- Field managers who actually show up (in real life, not just on Teams)
- Regular check-ins, coaching, and support — we’ve got your back
- Quarterly roadshows where directors share the real plan (no smoke, no mirrors, no corporate waffle)
- Sales incentives on top of commission (because wins should feel like wins)
- Summer events, Christmas parties — and yes, we really know how to party
- A team that works hard, laughs a lot, and celebrates properly
We take the job seriously.
Ourselves? Not so much — and that’s exactly how we like it.
This role is for you if…
- You’re motivated and target-driven
- You enjoy face-to-face selling
- You present yourself professionally
- You manage your own diary and admin without being chased
- You want your effort to be noticed and rewarded
What you’ll get
- £27,000 basic salary
- £39,000+ realistic OTE (uncapped commission)
- Branded company van
- Fuel reimbursed
- Bonus & incentive schemes
- Regular team & company events
- Long-term career progression in a growing business
What we need from you
- At least 2 years’ field sales experience — you’ve been out there and you know the game
- A proper closer — “I’ve got this” energy, not “maybe next time”
- A confident communicator who can own a room and a conversation
- Full UK driving licence — you’ll be clocking the miles
- Happy to travel and make the most of your territory
- Organised and accountable — winners do their admin
Bonus points if you’ve already got an Eye of the Tiger / hype playlist ready for those longer drives
Because when you’re covering miles, mindset matters — and the right soundtrack makes all the difference.
We want go-getters, not passengers.
If you hate leaving money on the table and love the buzz of a win, you’ll thrive here.
Final word (mic drop)
Let’s be honest — this role isn’t for everyone.
And that’s very much by design.
But if you:
- love life on the road
- thrive on face-to-face chats and real human sales
- want uncapped earnings (not “maybe if” bonuses)
- and fancy being part of a business that’s seriously on the up
Then you should apply.
Like… actually apply.
We’re kind of a big deal — and honestly?
We’re only just warming up.
