We are seeking an energetic and reliable Night Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods using a company van. This position is Night's delivering to school's & nurseries throughout the Night and in school term times, you will be asked to go on our day shift delivering during the day. We do offer Bonus schemes
Duties
- Safely operate a company van to deliver products to school's, nurseries & commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time arrivals
- Load and unload items with care, including lifting good;s when necessary, maintaining proper handling procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups, returns, or special delivery requests
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving commercial driving although training will be given
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with driving regulations, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance procedures
