Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff
- Supporting the organisation of storage areas and ensuring all items are stored correctly
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and other kitchen areas throughout shifts
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the overall cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking processes is a plus
- Experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about food safety standards and kitchen operations

Pay: £12.21-£17.90 per hour
