We are seeking a dedicated Scaffolding Yard Operative to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor maintenance and construction tasks.

This is a position suitable for a self employed operative. A CSCS card is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, have a keen eye for detail, practical skills in operating tools and machinery, and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction-related activities to develop their skills within a supportive team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Operate power tools such as hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading scaffolding kit and equipment
- Assist with general maintenance tasks around the yard or construction site, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Support excavation activities and site preparation for construction or landscaping projects.
- Keeping the yard clear and tidy
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to health and safety regulations during all operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Practical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to undertake outdoor labour
- A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and environmental care. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in outdoor construction environments while contributing positively to our team’s success.
Pay: £105.00 per day

- London SW19: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- CSCS (preferred)
