Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients to support daily cooking activities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including sinks, work surfaces, floors, and storage spaces
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are properly cleaned and stored after use
- Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for service
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
