Align Landscapes – Crawley and surrounding West Sussex areas
Align Landscapes are looking for an experienced hard landscaping team leader to manage a small team and deliver high-quality residential landscaping projects.
We specialise in medium to high-end garden transformations, including porcelain paving, retaining walls, drainage, fencing, steps, turf, artificial grass and complete garden renovations.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced landscaper who can confidently run projects, organise a team and maintain high standards from start to finish.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and working alongside a small landscaping team
- Setting out projects accurately from plans and designs
- Organising daily workloads and keeping projects moving efficiently
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Checking levels, falls, measurements and finished details
- Managing materials, deliveries, tools and site organisation
- Communicating professionally with customers while on site
- Reporting progress, issues and material requirements to management
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
Requirements
- Significant hard landscaping experience is essential
- Previous experience leading a team or running projects
- Strong knowledge of paving, groundworks, drainage, fencing and retaining walls
- Confident setting out projects and working from plans
- Excellent eye for detail and pride in workmanship
- Able to solve problems and make sensible decisions on site
- Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers
- Must have your own transport
- Must have your own tools
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Working hours
7:30am to 4:30pm on site, Monday to Friday
We are a fast-moving company with a strong pipeline of work. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a project, lead from the front and help us continue delivering landscaping work to a consistently high standard.
