Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance as outlined in their care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately and promptly.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Registration with Social care wales preferred
- QCF level 2 preferred ( if you do not hold this qualification you will be required to complete as part of registration to social care wales)
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are required.
- A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need is crucial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
Shift times are 7.45pm-8am
