Two Brothers Maintenance Ltd is a growing commercial grounds maintenance company based in Oldbury (B68), working across Birmingham and the wider Midlands.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced operative who can work to a high standard, take responsibility on site, and operate with minimal supervision.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can get stuck in, work at a good pace, take pride in their work and consistently deliver a high standard.
The role is varied and hands-on and would suit someone who enjoys a mix of work rather than doing the same task every day.
Role Includes:
- Grass cutting (ride-on and pedestrian machinery)
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Strimming, edging, bed work and general site presentation
- Tree work assistance and site clearances
- Weed control and spraying (where qualified)
- External maintenance works including gutter cleaning, pressure washing and window cleaning
- Fencing, landscaping and site improvement works when required
- Working on a structured round of commercial sites including schools, commercial premises, industrial premises, care homes and one off residential works.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, tree work or external maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident using commercial grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and blowers
- Able to work independently without constant supervision and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Takes pride in work and maintains high standards
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good attitude and willingness to get involved with a variety of outdoor work
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience towing trailers
- PA1 / PA6 spraying qualifications
- Chainsaw qualifications
- Tree work experience
- Experience leading small teams or taking responsibility on site
Hours:
- Monday to Friday with some Saturday work forming a regular part of the role, particularly during the main growing season and for project-based works
- 7:30am start from our unit in Oldbury (B68), earlier/later starts may occasionally be required depending on site access requirements
- Expected hours: 35–45 per week
- Work is available year-round, although hours may vary depending on workload, weather and seasonal demands
- Additional hours are regularly available during busier periods
Pay:
- £15.00 per hour
- Additional hours paid
- Holiday entitlement in line with company policy
