At Bright Life Living, we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and ambitious individual to join us as a Registered Children's Home Manager within one of our children's residential homes supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD).

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will provide effective leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
You will lead and inspire a dedicated team supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities, ensuring each child receives individualised support that promotes independence, communication, emotional wellbeing, and positive life experiences.
You will be responsible for creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children and young people are encouraged to develop essential life skills, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
You will work closely with families, education providers, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure children and young people receive holistic and consistent support tailored to their individual needs.

Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a children's residential care setting
- Previous management or deputy management experience within children's residential services
- Experience supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities and additional needs
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding practices
- Experience preparing for and participating in Ofsted inspections
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- A child-centred and person-centred approach to care and support
- Understanding of positive behaviour support and promoting independence
