About the Role
We are a growing, Microsoft-centric Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the South West, delivering high-quality Managed IT services, cloud solutions, and strategic guidance to our customers.
We're looking for an AI & Data Specialist to sit at the intersection of technology and the business. You'll work directly with teams across our customers to understand how they work, identify where AI and automation can remove friction or add value, and then build the solutions — from Microsoft 365 Copilot rollouts and Power Platform automations through to purpose-built AI agents.
This is a hands-on technical role with a strong business-facing element. We're open to candidates at different stages of their career in this space. Whether you're developing your skills across these Microsoft AI technologies, or already operating confidently at a specialist level, we'd like to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role with onsite requirement at our Taunton or Barnstaple offices (in addition to working from home), and client sites.
What You'll Do
- Support or drive adoption and of Microsoft 365 Copilot across our customers.
- Identify, scope and automate business processes using Microsoft AI and the Power Platform.
- Partner with teams to map business processes and surface opportunities to AI-enable them.
- Design and build AI agents to perform defined business functions.
- Work with Microsoft Purview to ensure AI and data initiatives are governed, compliant and secure.
- Communicate outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
We recognise that this is a fast-moving field and that the right candidate may have built their skills across a range of settings — a previous role, a personal project, internal tooling, or a Microsoft partner environment. We're more interested in genuine curiosity, passion, sound technical instincts, and the ability to work with the business than in ticking every box.
You'll need some level of hands-on exposure to most of the following:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot — you've used it in a business context and understand how to get value from it, even if you haven't led a full deployment.
- Business process automation using Microsoft tools (Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar) — you've built or contributed to automation workflows.
- Working with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify where AI or automation could help.
- AI agents — you've built or worked with agents to perform business functions (e.g. Copilot Studio), or have a clear working understanding of how they're constructed.
- Microsoft Purview — you have awareness of what it does and have worked in environments where it's in use.

We're open to candidates at either level and will calibrate the role and salary accordingly.
