Location: This position is based in-person at our West End, Glasgow location.
Employment Type: Freelance
Schedule: We are looking to fill a slot on Tuesday afternoons / evenings, with the potential for additional Sunday work.
Responsibilities:
- Teach guitar lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, including both children and adults
- Prepare students for Rock School grade exams as well as developing their listening and composition skills
- Maintain a positive and encouraging teaching environment to support student growth and confidence
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience teaching guitar to a diverse range of ages and skill levels
- An understanding of music theory and the ability to teach different musical styles
Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional proficiency in guitar
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and music
- A commitment to making music education exciting and accessible to all students
Salary and Benefits: Teaching rate: £24 p/h | Other work (e.g. staff meetings, school shows): £12.21 p/h
