Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team ( Mainly Weekends / Evenings with the possible for more during the week once fully trained ). As a vital part of our hospitality service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a passion for the restaurant industry, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. this is a ZERO HOUR CONTRACT.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Provide support during events or special occasions as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of time management to handle multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
