The Cott Inn is situated in Dartington, just outside the mediaeval town of Totnes in the South Hams, the most beautiful part of the West Country. We are a very busy destination country inn, with an enviable reputation. We aim to source produce and drinks of quality locally sourced wherever possible, which we combine with excellent standards of service to deliver a fantastic guest experience.
We are looking for a FOH supervisor to join our team. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 12 month’s experience in a similar role and have a passion for delivering outstanding service in a busy and fast-paced environment. Working alongside the management team, you will be responsible for continuing to develop this successful business. The ability to work well within a team and to lead by example are key qualities, but your personality and charisma are equally as valuable.
The position will be full-time, with a minimum 35 hours per week. We offer full training, subsidised gym membership, a fair share of our generous tronc and the potential to grow alongside the business.
We are looking for someone with:·
Minimum 12 months supervisor experience· Knowledge of wines and spirits (cocktail knowledge desirable)
Personal licence (preferred, not essential)·
Ability to maintain quality of customer experience during high intensity service
Amiable and friendly manner, being the welcoming face to arriving guests
